Fantastic place for cinema, library and theatre. Sort of central to Chester and good waking access, not bad if you have wheels too. The cinema screen is very good quality, sound is pretty good too... No faults there. Would I recommend it, yes absolutely. Plus there is a bar to get drinks from if that's your fancy too.
I haven’t visited the theatre yet but have been to both bars, cinema, library, and have eaten here. The cinema is a good size, not to small but not huge, having 100 seats. The seats themselves are very comfortable, which is perfect if you’re going to be watching a film! The bars aren’t cheap, but that’s to be expected for a theatre complex. The food is middle-eastern/Levantine inspired, and is delicious. There are vegetarian options, as well as pitta and dips if you just want a snack. The staff are friendly and helpful. The library winds all around the downstairs cafe/bar/restaurant area all the way up to around the cinema entrance. There are handy coming user terminals and ports for your own laptop so it’s idea for students. The only thing I found is that it is quite a sprawling complex so it’s not a shirt walk from the Garrett Bar to the cinema, for example. Overall though, great place to visit for a film, a show, dinner, or just a relaxing read.

I was there for a friend's of the earth event and the venue was very accessible and people friendly. There is a bar and some accessible toilet facilities. Can't say anything about the theatre shows, but the seating is very limited in terms of numbers of bums on seats, but has a good reputation.
Variety of styles of plays. Good price tickets. Well performed

Went on a Monday. Few customers, lovely food and quick service. Worth going on a Monday, much busier other days I'm told by friends who have eaten there at a weekend. It was packed
